Fallon/Vigo Co. Jail

A Terre Haute man was arrested on a warrant after allegedly raping a 22-year-old autistic victim over the summer.

Kevin J. Fallon, 68, was booked into the Vigo County Jail Monday around 3:45 p.m.  He is charged with rape and battery.

The three-month Indiana State Police investigation began after investigators  received information from a Shelburn town marshall on the allegations.  Family say the suspect lured the victim over with gifts.

Sgt. Matt Ames, of the ISP, explained that the suspect had allegedly forced himself on the male victim for sexual gratification.  The alleged rape took place in Vigo County during June.

Fallon remains held in the Vigo County Jail on a $35,000 bond.
