2 suspects facing multiple drug charges after traffic stop for speeding

SULLIVAN COUNTY- Two suspects were arrested on drug charges after a vehicile was pulled over for speeding in Sullivan County Monday evening.

The  driver, Jonathan Clymer, 28, of Terre Haute and a passenger, Isaac Bradbury, 28, of Dugger were booked into the Sullivan County Jail on multiple charges. 

According to Sgt. Matt Ames of the Indiana State Police, a trooper stopped the car on SR 54 near Section Street in Sullivan around 5:30 p.m.  The trooper detected criminal activity when speaking with the suspects.

A subsequent search of the car resulted in about 12 grams of methamphetamine, 67 hypodermic syringes, drug paraphernalia, anabolic steroids and a large amount of small plastic baggies being seized.

-Clymer, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a Level 2, felony; possession of hypodermic syringe, a Class 6 felony;  possession of methamphetamine,  a Level 6 felony;  possession of anabolic steroids, a Level 6 felony;  a  and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.  Further investigation revealed  Clymer was wanted on an active warrant out of Vigo County for arson.  

-Bradbury, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a felony 6;  possession of hypodermic syringe, a Class 6 felony and  possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Police say man was angry with son when he fired shots at his home

By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man was taken into custody after police say he fired multiple shots into a relative's home and vehicle early Sunday morning. John Lyman Jr., 49, was booked into the Vigo County Jail a short time later. He is charged with charged with: burglary while armed with a deadly weapon; burglary of a dwelling; criminal recklessness; and intimidation using a deadly weapon. Terre Haute Police Department officers were dispatched to the residence located in the area of Blakely and Wabash Avenues on a call for shots fired, just before 6 a.m. The suspect reportedly had fled the scene prior to police arrival and was located later on. Well-being check ends deadly in Vigo County after officer fires once at resident allegedly pointing rifle

Lucy Perry photos  By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News A reportedly armed and suicidal man was killed by an officer conducting a well-being check at his southern Vigo County residence late Wednesday afternoon. James Dockery, 45, of Terre Haute, was pronounced dead at the scene. He suffered from a gunshot wound. According to Sgt. Matt Ames, of the Indiana State Police, an off-duty Vigo County Sheriff's Office deputy initially responded to the home at  7479 S. Carlisle St.  just before 5 p.m., where he  found the seemingly distressed individual. Attempts were made to communicate with Dockery at that time.  A short time later, an on-duty deputy arrived to assist at the scene and quickly observed that Dockery had guns in his possession, Ames said.
