Single -vehicle crash seriously injures 2 in Vigo County

Two people were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Vigo County Monday night.


Just before 7:30 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, just south of Moyer Drive on Houseman Street.


Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse said the driver and passenger were Lifelined to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment after the vehicle had left the roadway and struck two trees. They were both extricated from the vehicle and were reportedly unconscious at the time.


The investigation is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
