Wings Etc. TH North, 1800 Ft. Harrison Rd. Ste. 9 (2 Critical, 4 Non-Critical) Found multiple items in toppings cooler held past 24 hours without date markings. Observed stacked clean dishes with built-up food debris.  


La Isla Mexican Restaurant, 1480 Ft. Harrison Rd. (2 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Found several employee food items in cooler and drinks on prep table. Found table mounted can opener with accumulated debris. 


West Vigo IGA, 1000 W. National Ave. (2 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Found accumulated debris on self-serve soda nozzles. Found several food items in deli walk-in cooler without date of consumption.  


Eastern House, 1295 S. 3rd St. (2 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Found employees personal food and drinks without lids on prep table. Found raw meat being stored above produce in walk-in cooler. 


Pizza Di Roma, 3401 Dixie Bee Rd. A-6 (2 Critical, 0 Non-Critical) Found employee drink without lid on prep table. Found pink debris in ice machine. 


Piloni’s Italian Restaurant, 1733 Lafayette Ave. (1 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Found several food items in coolers without date of consumption. 


Show-Me’s, 2324 S. 3rd St. (1 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Observed accumulated debris in ice machine and on can opener.

By Lucy Perry  Indiana Central News A Terre Haute man was sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking case.  Matthew Beeler, 32,was sentenced for his part in the recent drug trafficking case, according to a press release Thursday from United States Department of Justice -Southern District of Indiana. He will be on probation for five years following his sentence of    183 months in prison.  In November 2020, emergency crews responded to a report of a possible heroin overdose involving several people at a Terre Haute residence. Vigo County man accused of incest, child molesting

By Lucy Perry Indiana Central News  A Terre Haute man accused of child molesting was arrested over the weekend. Andrew Haynes Sr., 44, was booked into the Vigo County Jail Saturday around 5:30 p.m. He is facing multiple charges, including: child molesting (child under 14,) criminal deviant conduct, sexual misconduct with a minor, rape, incest and intimidation. Two victims have come forward. The alleged incidents with the first victim  began in 2000, when the victim was 10 and continued until she was 14. According to the probable cause affidavit, filed by Det. Ryan Winters, of the Indiana State Police,  the first alleged incident happened in the child’s bedroom. The suspect had allegedly come into the room and began inappropriately touching her while she was sleeping. Inside of ice machines found with built up debris. Wall mounted knife rack found with built up debris and table mounted can opener found with built up debris. Observed several flies in kitchen and flies on fly strips in food storage prep areas. On buffet honey dew, cantaloupe, pasta salad, crab salad and pepperoni found at 60-63 degrees. Penn Station, 2736 Wabash Ave. (3 Critical, 5 Non-Critical) Observed lemonade nozzle with built-up debris. Observed multiple food items between 45-62 degrees Fahrenheit. Found par-cooked potatoes not cooled within the time limits.
