Police say Sullivan woman attacked victim with broken glass bottle

SULLIVAN COUNTY-  A Sullivan woman was arrested on a warrant late Thursday night after police say she recently stabbed and injured another person.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames said the suspect, Ashley L. Coffman, 37, allegedly used a broken glass bottle to attack the victim during a fight on July 5. She is charged with felony criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and battery.

The stabbing victim was transported to a Terre Haute area hospital from Sullivan to be treated for injuries, after another person called 911.
