Andrew Haynes Sr., 44, was booked into the Vigo County Jail Saturday around 5:30 p.m. He is facing multiple charges, including: child molesting (child under 14,) criminal deviant conduct, sexual misconduct with a minor, rape, incest and intimidation.

Two victims have come forward.

The alleged incidents with the first victim  began in 2000, when the victim was 10 and continued until she was 14.

According to the probable cause affidavit, filed by Det. Ryan Winters, of the Indiana State Police,  the first alleged incident happened in the child’s bedroom. The suspect had allegedly come into the room and began inappropriately touching her while she was sleeping.

According to court documents, at a later time—— when the victim was changing clothes—- Haynes allegedly came into the room and raped her, threatening to get his handgun if she screamed.

The alleged sexual abuse didn’t stop there. It reportedly became more violent.

The first  victim alleged that a second rape was committed at another time, in the living room. She also alleges the suspect forced her to perform oral sex on him at another time.

At one point, the desperate victim reportedly informed officials at school during the sixth grade about the sexual abuse. According to the documents, learning of this only made Haynes more violent. He allegedly approached her afterwards and threatened her with the gun again if she did not retract the allegations.

A second victim came forward and alleges she was also sexually abused by Haynes , beginning in 2000. She was 12 at the time. This allegedly initially occurred in the suspect’ s white van. It continued for three years.

Haynes denies the allegations. He had his initial court appearance in Vigo Superior Court-Div. 1 Monday.
